FPL Gameweek 22 – 5 Clubs to Watch

We preview 5 clubs in the Premier League and make some FPL picks.

  1. Liverpool – @TOT, MUN, @WOL & @ WHU, SOU

Fixture list

The games in their next 4 gameweeks are not that easy but Liverpool has been extremely good this season. And Liverpool will have a double gameweek in GW24 where they face Wolves and West Ham away. Most, if not all managers will want to have 3 Liverpool players for GW24. We recommend to monitor the situation for now and wait for the team news prior to GW24 to make the decision.

  1. West Ham – @SHU, EVE, @LEI and LIV, BHA

The other team to have a double Gameweek 24 is West Ham. Moyes appointment had an immediate impact and brought a 4-0 win at home to Bournemouth. Fabianski (4.9m, TSB 2.6%) should be assured of a starting place, and we will have to wait and see who are the players Moyes like.

  1. Bournemouth – WAT, @NOR, BHA, AST

Four very winnable games but Bournemouth form has been terrible in the last 6 games (LWLDLL). If you are thinking to do something different from other managers, you can bring in players like Ramsdale (4.7m, TSB 6.1%) and Wilson (7.4m, TSB 4.7%).

  1. Leicester – SOU, @BUR, WHU, CHE

Leicester probably has shown that other than Liverpool and Man City, they can beat anyone else in the league. The next 3 fixtures look good, and a home fixture against Chelsea could bring more goals for Vardy (10.1m, TSB 48.9%). Therefore, if you have not hit the 3 player quota on Leicester players, you should look to maximise it. Soyuncu (5.1m, TSB 19.6%) is still very affordable. For midfielders, if you want security of starts, there is only 2 choices – Maddison (7.7m, TSB 27.1%) and Tielemans (6.3m, TSB 5.6%)

  1. Everton – BHA, @WHU, NEW, @WAT

After their loss against Liverpool in the FA Cup, there is gloom in the blue half of Merseyside. Actually, if not for Adrian pulling off a few excellent saves in the first half, we could actually be singing their praises. Sidibe (5.4m, TSB 1.7%) is one to watch, if he continues in the right midfield role. Richarlison (8.0m, TSB 11.0%) and Calvert Lewin (5.9m, TSB 5.4%) are other good picks, but we have to be wary of Kean (6.4m, TSB 1.4%), who tends to be subbed in during the 2nd half.

That’s all for now and good luck for Gameweek 22!
