Man City v West Ham Rescheduled

ManCity v WestHam Rescheduled

The Manchester City – West Ham game originally scheduled to play on Sunday, 9 February has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 19 February.

The match was called off on the day itself after Storm Ciara caused adverse weather conditions.

UEFA Champions League Clash

On the day of the rescheduled match, two UEFA Champions League Last 16 games are being played – Atletico Madrid v Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund v PSG. Typically UEFA do not prefer to have league games played on designated Champions League slots but have given their OK for this match to go ahead.

FPL Implications

This news will bring relief to many FPL managers, especially those who are heavily reliant on City assets. A particular group of managers, who has captained and vice-captained City players will breathe a huge sigh of relief since their assets will be on show on GW26.

Elsewhere, those who have benched Lundstram or any players who had scored good points already would be pegged back to square one.

Also, the already elongated GW26 will now officially stretch 11 days, making it quite the longest FPL game week in recent memory.
