FPL Gameweek 34+ – 5 teams with great fixtures till the end of the season

FPL GW34+

For FPL Gameweek 34+, we looked ahead to the rest of the season.

With 5 games more to play, Liverpool has been crowned as Champions and Man City are the favourites for 2nd place. The race is on for European places and the relegation dogfight.

Our partners also look at squad rotations.

Here are 5 teams who have great fixtures till the end of the season.

MCI – NEW, @BHA, BOU, FA Cup Semi-final vs ARS, @WAT, NOR

Manchester City has the best run of fixtures, facing none of the traditional Top 6 sides. The problem is they are quite assured of 2nd place and everybody is aware of Pep’s rotation. There is also the FA Cup semi-final happening during Gameweek 37, which will force their game against Watford to be played later than the rest of the league. All these means it would be impossible to select Man City players who will play in all 5 Premier League games. Even Ederson (MCI, 6.0m, TSB 12.4%) might be rested against Bournemouth before the FA Cup semi-final.

MUN – @AST, SOU, @PAL, FA Cup semi-final vs CHE, WHU, @LEI

FPL GW32+ Stats and Preview

Manchester United has the next best set of fixtures, with their toughest game away at Leicester. They also have to navigate a FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea. However, they are chasing for a Top 4 spot and should be playing their strongest first eleven till the end of the season. The dilemma for most managers would be whether they select 3 attackers or 2 attackers + 1 defender from Manchester United.

WHU – BUR, @NOR, WAT, @MUN, AST

West Ham has a nice run of fixtures with 3 home games and a tough away game at Manchester United. They had a moral boosting home win against Chelsea and will look to secure wins at home to starve off relegation. Antonio (WHU, 6.9m, TSB 0.9%), listed as a midfielder but playing as a forward, is an interesting differential with such a low ownership. Defensively, they are quite poor and it is unlikely to be able to reap returns from their defenders and goalkeeper.

EVE – SOU, @WOL, AST, @SHU, BOU

Everton fixtures are pretty decent with 3 very winnable home games. However, they do have 2 tough away games against Wolves and Sheffield which are chasing a European spot. Calvert-Lewin (EVE, 6.4m, TSB 12.1%) has been disappointing since the return while Richarlison (EVE, 8.2m, TSB 9.2%) is doing ok. Perhaps the best option could be Digne (EVE, 5.7m, TSB 11.1%) for their home games, who has collected 2 clean sheets and 2 assists in their first 3 games since the season restart.

WAT – NOR, NEW, @WHU, MCI, @ARS

Another team to mention is Watford, whose next 3 games could decide if they can avoid relegation. However, their form has been awful and a lot will depend on Deeney (WAT, 6.2m, TSB 1.6%), Sarr (WAT, 6.1m, TSB 1.5%) and Doucoure (WAT, 5.5m, TSB 2.0%) to score the goals and bring them away from the relegation zone. They next face Norwich, who has lost all 4 games since the restart with 0 goals scored.

That’s all for now and enjoy the last 5 gameweeks of the season!
