Top FPL Players from Promoted Teams

Top FPL Players from Promoted Teams

The 2019/20 Premier League has drawn to a close… and we are now 5 weeks away from the start of the new season.

With the new season starting just in a couple of week’s time, we look at the 3 teams that will be promoted to the Premier League in the upcoming season and highlights players that you might consider for your FPL team for the next season!

Aleksander Mitrovic (Fulham)

A proven player in the Premier League with both Newcastle and Fulham, Mitrovic has scored more than 10 goals in his last 2 Premier League season outings and had a blistering season in the Championship with Fulham scoring a total of 26 goals. He probably won’t come as cheap given his record in the Premier League but should be one of the first picks on the Fulham teamsheet if he’s fit.

Matheus Pereira (WBA)

The Baggies Supporters Player of the Season is also the Championship’s top assist provider, weighing in with 17 assists in the 2019/20 season! Having impressed sufficiently in his first season in England on loan, the Baggies have exercised the buyout clause in the contract and have signed him on a permanent basis for a reputed £9 million. If he can reproduce the same form in the Premier League, he will be a relatively cheap midfielder to hold on to.

Jack Harrison (Leeds)

He has an interesting start to his career, having spent some time in his youth career with both Liverpool and Manchester United but then left to play in the States. He had a stellar season with Leeds, helping them win the Championship and chipping in with 6 goals and 9 assists in 46 appearances and such was his contribution that Leeds has already agreed with Man City an extension to his loan such that he will be spending his third successive season at Elland road, this time with a clause that might lead to an eventual permanent move.

Ezgjan Alioski (Leeds)

Apart from being the first choice left wing back in the meanest defence in the Championship, Macedonian international Alioski also scored 5 and assisted 3 goals along the way. Whilst promoted teams might find it harder to keep a clean sheet in the Premier League, he might still be a very good bargain and it will be interesting to see what position he will be assigned to in FPL.
