We also note which teams are already through to the Last 16 – these are the teams which may start to rest players.

(this article will be continuously updated up to MD5)

Premier League

Chelsea

Chelsea have qualified for the Last 16 so this away game to Sevilla should decide if they finish top or second.

The Blues have a 100% fit squad including Pulisic, who featured as a substitute over the weekend.

Liverpool

Liverpool’s shock loss at home to Atalanta throws this Group wide open. Fate however is in Liverpool’s hands – two wins from their last two games and they will finish top.

The Reds’ injury list have lengthened, not shortened.

James Milner is the latest addition to this absentee list with a hamstring injury.

Virtual Van died

Their other long term absentee list includes Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gomez, Keita, Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk and Shaqiri.

Skipper Henderson is back to fitness. Salah was taken off after 60mins over the weekend and Mane only played 30mins.

Thiago is out until 2021.

Manchester City

City are through after four wins in four and will qualify as Group winners with a draw here at Porto.

Ake is a long term absentee for City, who otherwise looks injury-free and settled. Aguero did not make the squad for the weekend game and is unlikely to be risked.

Mendy is back fit and played 90mins over the weekend. He is in contention to start. Fernandinho is also back.

De Bruyne did not play the last Group game, he may be rested here as well.

Manchester United

United are top of their Group but are not yet through. PSG and Leipzig have games against bottom team Istanbul Basaksehir so this Group remains open.

Lingard and Pogba are still out while Shaw and Jones are long term absentees.

De Gea was substituted at half time because of a knee injury and this game may come too soon for him.

Bundesliga

Bayern Munich

Bayern have qualified as Group winners with two games to spare.

This could be their opportunity to rest all their key assets, which is great timing as the European Champions are facing a lengthy injury list to their top players.

Davies and Kimmich are both out until at least 2021.

Tolisso, Richards and Sarr are also definitely out for MD5.

Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund need at least a point from their last two matches to qualify.

Their injury list has ballooned over the weekend.

Guerreiro, Meunier, Carvalho, Zagadiy and Schmetzer are all out as they play Lazio at home.

Borussia Moenchengladbach

Moenchengladbach have been the surprise package of this season’s Champions League, topping a Group which also consist of Real Madrid and Inter.

Forward Plea is back after COVID-19 and played over the weekend. Bensebaini, the game’s 4th highest scorer with 25 pts, is also out.

RB Leipzig

Leipzig needs a win here in Istanbul to qualify.

They are missing Hartmann, Hwang, Laimer and Klostermann.

Halstenberg is back and started over the weekend.

La Liga

Atletico Madrid

Atletico is not having their best Champions League campaign but a win over the already qualified Bayern Munich will set them on the right track.

Herrara and Vrsalijko are long term absentees and are unlikely to return for the Group Stages.

Suarez and Torreira both are COVID-19 positive and unlikely to be fit enough for MD5 – both missed the league game over the weekend.

Costa is a doubt with illness and Joao Felix is a

Barcelona

Barcelona have a 100% record and will be through as Group winners as long as they hold Juventus to at least a draw on MD6. We can expect them to rest a swathe of players for this visit to Hungary.

Roberto, Pique, Fati and Araujo are out all. There are good news for Barcelona though, Umtiti is back in training.

Messi played and scored over the weekend but chances are he would be rested again here.

Real Madrid

Real is currently second in their Group and lost to lowly Alaves in a league game over the weekend.

They also face a long injury list.

Ramos is out and will be a huge miss for Real.

Odriozola, Valverde and Jovic will all miss  MD5 through injuries or COVID.

Carvajal

Hazard is the latest casualty for the out-of-sorts Real. He limped off after 30mins over the weekend and looks like a real doubt for this game.

Sevilla

Sevilla are through to the Last 16.

GK Bounou and Luna are out because of COVID. Acuna and Suso are also long-term absentees.

Serie A

Atalanta

The side from Bergamo have reignited their Champions League campaign with a famous win at Anfield. They however suffered a shock home loss in the league over the weekend.

Malinovsky (COVID) and Caldara are out for MD5. Miranchuk and Pasalic are new additions to this list.

Inter

Inter are currently bottom of their Group but can still qualify if they win their last two games.

Vidal is suspended for this game.

Inter will be missing the duo of Kloarov and Padelli due to COVID. Nainggolan will also miss this game due to a muscle injury.

Brozovic returned a negative test overnight and will be available for selection.

Juventus

UCL Fantasy MD3 Limitless Wildcard

Juventus have qualified and the last group game at Barcelona would probably decide their final position.

Chiellini is currently doubtful, while Bonucci was fit enough to make the bench over the weekend. Buffon and Demiral are both out.

Ronaldo is not reportedly injured but was rested entirely over the weekend.

Lazio

Lazio can qualify on MD5 if they win at Dortmund.

Lazio have an enviable absentee list compared to most.

Reserve GK Proto is out long-term; Reina is likely to be the number one.

Ligue 1

Marseille

Marseille are currently goalless and pointless in the Champions League. They still can qualify for the Europa if they win their remaining two games and other results go their way.

Balerdi is suspended for this game; Radonjic is their only other absentee when Olympiacos visit.

PSG

PSG travels to Manchester knowing that a defeat will probably mean elimination from the Group Stage.

They were held to a draw at home over the weekend and continue to miss key players.

Bernat, Draxler and Kehrer are long term absentees. However, they welcome back Icardi, Veratti and Herrara – all made appearances over the weekend.

Rennes

Rennes visit Krasnodar for a place in the Europa League.

Rugani and Martin are still out, Aguerd is missing through illness.

Others

Ajax

Kudus is the only listed absentee as the Dutch side visit Anfield. A win here can secure qualification.

Porto

Porto need a draw against City to seal qualification.

Mbaye is out long term; Pepe and Marcano are listed as currently doubtful.

Grujic is suspended.

Olympiacos

The Greek side has an outside chance of qualification if they win their last two and results go their way.

El Arabi and Hassan will be absent because of COVID. Bruma and Valbuena are out.

Ex Watford man Holebas is listed as doubtful.
