UCL Fantasy MD7 Captains and Players Pick

UCL Fantasy MD7 Captain

UCL Fantasy MD7 Captain

UCL Fantasy MD7 returns with 8 Last 16 fixtures. It is key to note that MD7 is split among four calendar days, instead of the two across the Group Stage. This means that UCL Fantasy managers will have 3 opportunities to active manual substitutions instead of the usual 1.

To capitalise on this, it is advisable that UCL Fantasy managers spread their team to ensure that there are at least one player from each calendar day.

Tuesday 16 Feb

Messi (Barcelona) – (C)

There is no way to ignore Messi, despite his lower than par performances so far this. He has already accumulated 19 goals and 8 assists in just 28 appearances and Barcelona will again look to him in this Last 16 fixture.

Angelino (Leipzig)

Angelino is one player whose stock has risen tremendously this season. The left-sided player is in sensational form this season, having already scored 8 goals and registering 11 assists. He can play at left-back or left-midfield and will be looking forward to playing a defensively weakened Liverpool side.

Angelino’s form is also discussed widely by FantasyTipsters in their Player Picks.

Wednesday 17 Feb

Haaland (Dortmund) – (C)

Despite missing games with a muscle injury, Haaland is back to his best goal scoring form. He has 23 goals in 22 games to date, including 6 in the Champions League. The Norwegian is “fixture” proof and can be backed to score against any team. He scored again over the weekend.

Morata (Juventus)

Ronaldo is naturally the top choice for a Juventus player but Morata has been in great form in the Champions League. He is the current joint top scorer with 6, 2 more than Ronaldo.

Tuesday 23 Feb

Lewandowski (Bayern) – (C)

Lewandowski is having quite an odd season in the Champions League. Domestically he has scored 24 goals in 18 games but has “only” returned 3 goals in 4 Champions League games. The Polish is at the peak of his prowess and cannot be ignored.

In the Bundesliga, Lewandowski has scored 12 goals in 9 consecutive games, before his streak was stopped over the weekend by Hertha Berlin.

Suarez (Atletico)

At 34, Suarez is again enjoying his football and having one of his top goal scoring season of his career. Although he has yet to score in the Champions League for Atletico, he has 16 league goals in 18 appearances.

Wednesday 24 Feb

Gundogan (Man City)- (C)

Gundogan is one of the most in-formed player in Europe at the moment. Man city are flying and the German has already scored 11 times in the Premier League. He is now the first name on City’s teamsheet and will start every game when fit.

Romero (Atalanta)

It will be hard to ignore the highest scoring UCL Fantasy player of the the Group Stages. He has an astonishing 72 recoveries and has 50pts in total. Real Madrid are seasoned European campaigners but are struggling with a mammoth list of injuries. Romero is a safe choice for this calendar day.
