BGW32 and BGW33 confirmed – What is happening?
Four fixtures will not be played on GW32:
As at time of writing, the official date for these fixtures to be played has not been officially announced.
Two fixtures will not be played on GW33. However, thanks to good planning, these two fixtures have already been played.

- #FULTOT (GW27)
Why is BGW32 and BGW33 happening?
The FA Cup Semi-Finals are scheduled on GW32 so there always exist the understanding that some of games will not be played on GW32. For the record, the four FA Cup semi-finalists this year are: Man City, Chelsea, Leicester and Southampton.
The EFL Cup Final between Spurs and Man City will be played on GW33.
Other games to be rescheduled?
After the official confirmation, there are still 2 fixtures left to be rescheduled.
Any other affected gameweeks?
The midweek after GW32 fixtures is not currently occupied, so there is a good chance these 4 fixtures will be scheduled then. If that is the case, the FPL fixtures for GW32 is likely to remain as is.
Also, there are not many “open” slots left to complete the fixtures so it is likely that the Premier League will go ahead and do the obvious.

BGW32 and BGW33 strategy?
Assuming that GW32 is not affected, BGW33 is the only week of concern.
After the upcoming international break, FPL managers have a tough call to make on whether to continue with the tripling of City assets.
City are just 14points away from sealing the title and that is assuming Man Utd wins every of their remaining 9 games. A fair assumption would be that City may secure the title mathematically sometime by GW34/35. They are still in 3 other competitions and adding that to the Pep Roulette, it would be extremely difficult to have any “nailed on” City asset from the start of April onwards.
City Premium assets like Kevin De Bruyne (18%) and Sterling (6%) would be very difficult to hold on during the run-in, though Gundogan (35%) and City defenders may be cheap enough for the punt.
The top 3 most owned Spurs assets are Kane (45%), Son (45%) and Bale (14%). They will not play on GW33 but they still have a game to be rescheduled, meaning that with some certainty, they will have at least one more DGW to come.
If your team can hold out, it is probably wise to hold on to Spurs assets, even if it means a tripling up to capitalise on the DGW.
Southampton and Fulham
McCarthy (13%) and Ward-Prowse (10%) are the two most popular Saints assets. Southampton also have an impending DGW so Ward-Prowse is probably worth keeping.
McCarthy is no longer the first choice so if he is your second GK then it probably won’t be worth the hassle to change him out.
No Fulham asset has more than 6% in terms of TSB. They do not have any expected DGW to come so any long-term strategies need not consider Fulham.
