FPL GW29 Captain
Just four games so not to choose from. Good luck to our panel!

If you’ve got Harry Kane(11.5), captain him. If, like me, you don’t – good luck!

Time to join the Dallas (5.2) buyers club. The Leeds Defender is the second highest scoring defender amongst all the defenders playing this GW29 and with Leeds playing away to a Fulham side who have only scored 1 in the last 5 home games, Dallas looks good for the clean sheet.

I am going to use my good friend @FPLLens‘ analysis on Fulham and go with Raphinha (5.6) to net that haul for us! He is matched up against a team in Fulham who have conceded more chances in the last 6 GWs from the left (17) than the middle and the right combined (15) and has been unlucky in recent weeks not to bang.

Despite blanking in his last 3, Raphinha (5.6) is joint first for shots in the box in the last 2games, has set pieces and was only denied a goal by a world class save from Edouard Mendy in GW28. Fulham appeared vulnerable on the right flank v Man City and with them needing a win, it could be an open game (like most Leeds games) and a fruitful day for the Brazilian.

With 6 goals and 1 assist in 5 games against Aston Villa, Harry Kane(11.5) is my captain for this week. Villa looked susceptible at the back against Newcastle with Murphy hitting the bar and Joelinton causing problems and spurning a couple of chances. Even without Son, Tottenham carry enough threat to score against a team who look bereft of ideas without their talisman.

I am going to for Raphinha (5.6). He is the driving force in an attacking Leeds team and is joint 3rd for shots in the box in last 4 matches. With Bamford likely to play as well, this only increases the appeal of the Brazilian winger for me.

I’m going super boring and picking Kane(11.5). I feel the Arsenal game was something of a blip. Arteta got his tactics spot on and Mourinho played into it with how Spurs were set up. I don’t think he will make that mistake against Villa. I’m backing Kane to continue his streak of form.

Harry Kane(11.5) is my obvious captain. Raphinha would be a nice differential, and Fulham have conceded the more chances from the right than from the left and centre combined, but Villa have looked shaky since Grealish’s injury. If I change it I will go for Raphinha , but for now I will play it safe.

My pick of the week is Kane(11.5). Can’t see a player with a higher ceiling and spurs need to come back. That defeat at Zagreb will be difficult to swallow, they need to overcome it soon. Kane is after the Golden Boot and every goal counts. Expect Martinez to be busy.
Lord of … all things funny and wacky
We are going to go with Lingard (6.1). He was given a rest last GW as he could not play against his parent club but otherwise his statistics since joining West Ham has been fantastic – 4goals 2 assists in 6 games. Arsenal is also his favourite opponent of all time – he has 4 career goals and 1 assist against the Gunners.

It’s hard to look beyond Kane(11.5) for the captaincy, as there are only 8 teams playing with no other outstanding choice
