3 FPL GW31 Differentials

FPL GW31 Differentials

Game-week 30 posed some questions of the strike force, with the injury to Antonio, and a mis-firing Calvert-Lewin top of the list.

Add to that tough games for Patrick Bamford and Ollie Watkins, is it time to look elsewhere?

FPL GW31 Differentials

With that in mind my 3 differential picks for this week are all strikers.

Chris Wood £6.2m

1.4% owned
Next fixture NEW (h)

With 3 goals and 1 assist in his last 3 games, Chris Wood faces a Newcastle team low on confidence, conceding 6 goals in the last 3 games.

With only West Ham, Arsenal and Leeds conceding more headed chances, this looks a prime opportunity for a Burnley team who overload the box with crosses. Only 3 away game victories all season and going to Turf Moor where Burnley have only lost twice all season, Chris Wood will be looking to add to his tally.

Danny Ings £8.4m

6.3% owned
Next fixture WBA (a)

A stop start season for Danny Ings, in which he still has scored 9 goals and 4 assists.

Coming off the back of 11-point haul against Burnley, Ings will have a point to prove. His England chances for the euros in the balance, you have player who has something to play for.

If he gets on a fine run of scoring like he did last season then he will be in the squad and with a favourable fixture, expect him to score. Only Man City and Tottenham have scored more goals than Southampton in the last 3 games, as they face the division’s worst defence in WBA.

Alexandre Lacazette £8.2m

6.4% owned
Next fixture SHU (a)

FPL GW18 Stats

Who would have thought Alexandre Lacazette would become so central to Arsenal’s attack.

With Aubameyang suffering from post-bumper contract blues, Lacazette has taken on the responsibility to fire Arsenal forward.

2 goals in his last 3, he faces a Sheff United side, manager less and rock bottom. 9 goals conceded in the last 3 games against quick counter breaking teams, will fall into the hands of Arsenal looking to make up for the dismal display against Liverpool.
