FPL GW34 Differentials
Only 5 gameweeks left after GW34 and our choice of differentials have taken potential double gameweeks to come.
FPL GW34 Differentials #1 – Sigurdsson (6.9m | 2.4%)
GW34: Aston Villa (H)
Everton still has 1 game to be rescheduled – their away tie at Aston Villa. This makes Everton assets very valuable in the run-in, especially because they are still in contention to finish inside the Top 4.
The Toffees are in decent form, unbeaten in five and having 2 clean sheets in their last two. However, their frontline of Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin have been misfiring of late – Richarlison has not scored in 7 games while Calvert-Lewin has 1 goal in his last 11 games.
Sigurdsson has slowly played his way back into the starting XI and makes a strong differential pick for the remaining fixtures. His set-pieces and deliveries are still as potent, doubling his chances for attacking returns.
FPL GW34 Differentials #2 – Ward-Prowse (5.8 | 8.3%)
GW34: Leicester (H)
Southampton also have one more game to be rescheduled, a home game against Crystal Palace.
Granted, Southampton are not in great form, losing six of their last eight league games. However, they are not yet out of the woods in terms of the relegation battle and will probably need 2 wins to guarantee safety.
Ward-Prowse is highly affordable at his price and makes a great fifth midfielder, to be utilised when Southampton do play their DGW.
He is also on all set-piece duties for his club and as we have already witnessed this season, packs a great freekick.
He is also durable – he is only one of three midfielders not to miss a single minute of Premier League action to date (other than Soucek and Hojberg).
FPL GW34 Differentials #3 – Castagne (5.8m | 6.4%)
GW34: Southampton (a)
Another team strongly favoured to finish in the Top 4 is Leicester.
They are also in the FA Cup Final but are well-aware that this Champions League spot will by far bring more financial benefits.
Castagne is our top differential pick from the Leicester defence. He offers much going forward, already scoring twice and assisting 4 times in 22 appearances for the Foxes.
He is also on great form, 1 goal and 1 assist from his last two games.
With his injuries seemingly now behind him, he is our top pick from the Leicester backline.
