  • Liverpool v Real (Real lead 3-1)

UCL Fantasy MD10 Captain (Tue) – Kylian Mbappe – 11.1m / 34% owned

UCL Fantasy MD8 Preview

The first day of MD10 could be interesting in terms of captain picks.

The PSG v Bayern can go either way. Bayern could stage a comeback or PSG could end up winning big – either outcome would not be too surprising.

Mbappe has scored 8 goals so far, 6 of which has come in 3 games in the knock-out stages against Barcelona and Bayern.

Bayern are simply too depleted and could be in for a thrashing as they push all out to score in Paris.

Alternate – Cesar Azpilicueta (Chelsea) – 5.2m / 6% owned

Should you not fancy anyone from the abovementioned tie, Chelsea’s Azpilicueta offers a safe option for captaincy.

He is not likely to score, but Chelsea are definitely good for the clean sheet and the Spanish defender can rake up additional points from recoveries.

UCL Fantasy MD10 Captain (Wed) – Kevin de Bruyne (Man City) – 11.3m / 9% owned

If your options on the first day fails to return, De Bruyne is the best City asset to back for captaincy.

He is rested fully over the weekend and has scored in each of his last 2 Champions League appearances.

Dortmund cannot sit back so expect City to find holes in their defence.

Alternate – Mo Salah (Liverpool) – 11.8m / 20% owned

IF Liverpool were to enjoy another sensational comeback at Anfield, you would expect Salah to be among the scorer.

It can be said that Salah is having an average season but he has already scored 28 goals in 43 appearances, including 6 in the Champions League.
